Elaine has a wealth of experience working alongside show business luminaries including Bob Monkhouse OBE, Leslie Crowther CBE, Gary Wilmott MBE and many more at Corporate events and nightclubs.
Elaine started her career as a musician backing artistes on the piano/organ in the working men's clubs in South Wales but soon took to the stage herself joining a 10 piece function band in which she served her 'apprenticeship' over many years as a lead vocalist gaining valuable experience in corporate entertainment , theatres and summer seasons at a young age.
Elaine toured Warner Hotels with her own cabaret show and was welcomed by the agent with the words "Welcome to the Elite" as at that time they didn't book many female artistes.
A review in The Stage Newspaper after an appearance on The Show-call Showcase predicted that she was "on the stairway to stardom", and she also toured with Welsh comedian Mike Doyle appearing at cabaret clubs and theatres across the U.K.
Reviews also complimented Elaine on a "trained crystal clear voice as she moved through an impressive repertoire" and on moving to Spain with her family she enjoyed residencies at two fine Spanish restaurants on the Costa Blanca, enjoying critical acclaim again.
Elaine returned to the U.K after 9 years abroad and toured many clubs, holiday parks and hotels to appreciative audiences and her latest project has found her in the recording studio with an orchestra recording some of her favourite songs penned by Burt Bacharach and Hal David.
Elaine is looking forward to touring with her Bacharach Show "Simply Bacharach" and also working with David Rhys Morris as Neil Sedaka on their joint venture "Sedaka meets Bacharach" along with the musicians that feature on her forthcoming album: "Love Is Still The Answer"
